The hamlet Here, in the heart of the hamlet, the terraces of the restaurants unfold joyfully onto old towpaths.

From either side of the Canal du Midi, you can admire the ancient bridge with its bell known as "feet in the water ”; the only building for this purpose that remains along the canal.

Somail is pleasant out of season and very popular during tourist periods. You can stroll leisurely in the sun, picnic next to the canal, browse books or rent a boat. Many cyclists and pilgrims on their way to St Jacques de Compostelle pass through the village
